This is not a post to persuade the reader to become a polygamist nor is it to have you marching down the isle to Led Zeppellin's "Stairway to Heaven". I am writing this post in order to get you to think “outside of the box”. In modern culture “monogamy” is the “normal” structure of most relationships. However, this is only on the surface of things.
Statistics say that 40% of new marriages will end in divorce within the first 3yrs of marriage. I also say that is is on the surface of things because, fact is that most people “cheat”. So it is only an appearance of monogamy.

A man’s natural inclination is to mate with several woman thus giving him the more chances at procreation. These impulses are deeply ingrained in the psychy of the male species. It is the constraints of “Romanticism” that forces him into monogamy against his true nature.
What is romanticism? The antics of The Roman Church. The Bulls,Canons,statutes and various rules of Christianity that forbade polygamy via “Local, State and Federal Statutes and “color of law”. There is no true seperation of Church and State.
